That's like saying it's tough to find jeans that fit, so the government should give out sweatpants for free.

I sympathize but the point is tampons literally aren't a necessity

How are they not a necessity?

If you use a rag, what are you supposed to do at work? Wash you bloody rag in the sink? Keep the bloody rag in a plastic bag by your desk when you've changed a new one in?

No. Tampons/pads are absolutely a necessity.

I said nothing about the government giving out anything for free. I was just taken aback that you seemed to think that menstrual cups were an easy solution that would work for anyone, therefore everyone who buys tampons is wasting their money on a luxury.

And that is a silly comparison anyways, because if a pair of jeans doesn't fit you properly, you won't look your best but you can still wear them and be covered. If a menstrual cup doesn't fit you properly you will be in pain.
