I didn't think I was going to make enough to sell or even give any to friends and family. As it turns out, I VASTLY underestimated how much sap comes from a sugar maple, and how fast. (I just wrote about it over at my journal today, hahah.) It's, er, been quite a learning experience, and at this rate I may have quite a bit by the time the season's done. Not enough to sell, but I'm totally taking some to my grandma for Easter and maybe giving some to my neighbors for being awesome and helping me with my driveway during the snowy winter.
