As a child, my Barbies were ruled by the girls, the Ken dolls were all thick as shit and lived as the Barbies' toyboys. They had capital punishment and held trials for anyone who broke the laws, followed by public hangings. My sister and I later built them a cloning facility out of a cardboard box and tubes.

Now I'm a parent, and can't even begin to fathom why my parents didn't put me in therapy.

I hear you. Adderall helps me be focused and only take a two hour nap between full nights of sleep rather than sleeping all day due to crippling fatigue, but I have a friend who calls them addys and acts like it's ecstasy or something. It's definitely got a lot of potential for abuse but the way people talk about it is ridiculous.

I think it's neat. It's kind of a Ghostbusters for a new era (and if it's as good as the trailer, it probably obviates the need for a Ghostbusters remake).

I think that if they had just removed that one scene of Leith's at the end of season one, where he gave that disgusting speech about getting to be better than Greer could ever wish for and rejecting her, I could root more for him. As it is, I liked Castleroy but I think his storyline was more interesting than just getting put on a bus -- he demonstrated the very real consequences of being in league with radical religious factions. I'm sorry he's not on the show anymore, but I like where it's leading Greer's character (to landing on her feet and starting her own business, not necessarily falling into bed with Leith. Hell yeah for a good Madam!).

In any case I'm glad that this is not harming Greer's character the way Mary's has been harmed by this Conde disgustingness. With Greer I can sympathize -- Castleroy is basically lost and she's got nothing to lose anymore by being with Leith.
