... I'm going to guess you don't know much about the Jehovah's Witnesses. At least the Mormons don't demand you cut off your entire family if they refuse to convert with you.

Where in the world are you that Jehovah's Witnesses are required to do that? I know a number of people who converted later in life to that, and they have definitely not cut off their non-Witness family members.

Odd. That was the case for one of my ex's family members. He was told if his family didn't convert, he could no longer have contact with them, because they were impure or unclean or something. Granted, this was awhile ago, and rules may have changed since then.
