Tbh, most furries I've met are some of the sweetest people I've ever met in fandom. Hell, I've even seen a comedy writer say [paraphrasing] that he went into the furry fandom specifically to write something mocking them only to find out that they were all pretty cool, and laid back. If it wasn't for the vocal minority who are into furry sex stuff he might have actually stuck around it.

I want to say "stay away from tumblr", but I believe the whole SJW thing has bled out of the site and into other places. I do feel you, OP, and it annoys me when I'm reading my filthy porn and find comments that say "THIS IS BAD AND WRONG AND YOU'RE BAD FOR ENJOYING IT". Sometimes I want to snark at them and say "this site is for people over the age of 18" or "if you don't like it then maybe you should have stop reading it" among other things. Worse of all, when the warnings are RIGHT. THERE. and they still read it and complain about it.

I've had my last two fandoms ruined because of SJW harassment that just snow-balled out of control. They find something offensive about everything and harassed people to the point of deleting their blog or making them suicidal, and they were proud of it too.

My current fandom is barely passing by since there are no "problematic" characters or shipping. The only stuff they complain about is getting offended when certain characters are not portrayed as asexual and the insisting on certain ships being queer platonic. I hope they don't start harassing people in this fandom. Then again they have a tendency to suck the joy out of everything, so they'll probably find some reason to ruin this fandom too.

The only place SJW is taken remotely seriously is tumblr, everywhere else their radicalism has made them as big a joke as the Westboro Baptist Church. Every SJW I've ever seen on tumblr says they are 13-16 years old.
