No, making someone murder people is, imo, worse than that someone deciding by himself that they want to have sex. Also, shipping does not always have to mean sex. You can always ship characters romantically without them fucking all the time. So yeah, I think that if someone thinks it's totally fine to have Cole murder people but act as if anyone who ships him is the most terrible person ever because "OMG HE'S FAR TO YOUNG" I think they're hypocrites.

I don't think it's a matter of people consciously thinking it's totally fine for him to murder people, though. It's a series where your character unblinkingly slaughters massive amounts of people just to get through each game. Resultantly, people just aren't thinking about what they're doing when they smack the pixel-pinata till loot falls out.

Well, yes, obviously. For the record: I don't really agree with the "autistic" interpretations of this character, and I don't mind him slaughtering people. I just think that the people who act so overly concerned about him getting shipped kind of overlook the fact that they canonically make him do much worse things in their own gameplay and thus are in no real position to judge.

TBF it's totally possible to recruit him but never put him in your party, and thus never make him kill anyone.

True, but how many people do that? most of the anti-shippers probably let their pixel hack some other pixels apart

Yeah but he'll still kill people on his own even if you never recruit him. His whole thing is that he was killing people to "make their suffering stop."

He's not an innocent.
