Yeah I know where you're coming from. Can't put it into words though.

The whole other people shaving someone with a straight razor trope gets me too. I think it's the intimacy of the act combined with the tension and trust required in giving someone that power over you.

Well it's even weirder because I have had someone hold a knife to my throat and that didn't do anything for me at all. It just made me suddenly and violently angry.

Something about the shaving itself, I suppose. Maybe it's the care aspect as well.

My partner teases me about it all the time by showing me ASMR videos (which she knows I find creepy) that are about shaving.

I have never been so creeped out and simultaneously turned on.

I shave with a straight razor. Not every time, just when the hair's gotten long enough that it's easier than using an electric. I have to do the back of my head by touch, which is tricky.

Oh, and I did once shave a lady's pubic hair with it.
