I don't remember?

I looked him up, and it could have been. All I remember is that he was on a very small raft when "demonstrating" this technique. (It was one of thse things were I came across it while channel-surfing, made a "mental note" of the technique, but never really noted the show or made an effort to watch it again after that.)

I suspect that was him. Bear Grylls is a British explorer who does a lot of TV about weird techniques to survive in the wild, like eating lizards or drinking your own pee. It's pretty funny, really.
