I don't want kids, but if in some alternate universe I decided to have them, I would probably give them a fandom related name that wasn't too unusual.

Something like Nathan, because Nate is a adorable nickname. (I know so many fictional Nathan's...Haven, Uncharted, Leverage, Heroes...it would be harder to pin down.)

For a girl I would probably pick something from a BioWare game. (Tali is a cute name, as is Liara, Leliana, Josephine, Cassandra, etc.)

For pets, anything goes.

Not the same thing, but I name my electronics after fandom stuff.
