I think this just goes to show that these people have no idea all the non WASP names there are out there. Probably because people they've met with odd names go by nicknames. A friend works in data entry and keeps lists of some of the odder ones she's encountered, but just a quick search of popular names in Utah comes up with Maverix, Jenedy, Silver, Xacian, Versailles, Rafter, Payzlee, Djaryd, Jaymz, Myrical and Jrake.
