Now that I think of it, the "sex" article in the encyclopedias I read were rather heteronormative. I have a strong memory of seeing a "sexual arousal curve" chart for a man and a woman, and there were two charts - one for if the woman orgasms and one for if she doesn't. But what if the man doesn't orgasm, huh??
...I realize that encyclopedia was probably written in like... '82, but it still bothers me.
