If I'm ranking my Stargate loves, in descending order, it goes like this:

1) SGU (for a variety of reasons including nostalgia for Blake's 7, love of Bobby Carlyle, fondness for crazy people, and enjoyment of a 'stranded far from home' plot that actually stayed the course)
2) SG1 (I actually don't remember a lot of it, it was the first I watched and only sporadically, but what I remember is good)
3) SGA (I hated John Sheppard, I was disappointed that they didn't stay stranded, for some reason the episode 'Inferno' killed a lot of my love, I didn't like a lot of their interactions with Pegasus, and aside from Zelenka, Ronon and Teyla -in that order- I kind of wasn't really fond of anybody)

Make of that what you will.

I don't make anything of it other than I have the COMPLETE opposite tastes than you do! SGA>SG1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>SGU.
And John is my favorite character in all of fiction. :P

Heh. Fair enough. I suspect how people feel about Sheppard probably does have a lot to do with where SGA ranks for them. Though I can't blame all of it on him. A lot of SGA just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason.

The fandom was pretty cool, if I ignored McShep. The canon ... not so much for me.

Radek was seriously one of the few redeeming qualities of that show for me. I adored that poor long-suffering Czech bastard :D
