I just don't get it.
It's just showing that the Writers deserve more and spreading the word.
These 'Fans support the WGA' icons originated from fans4writers.com, where they seem to be VERY INFORMED about why the writers are striking and how this affects everyone. Why do you think not many people are complaining about The Daily Show, Colbert Report, etc coming back? Because they know that now the crew at least have their jobs back.
It's so simple. Is it wrong to support the writers? Most people are /very/ informed if they have the time to 1) Make their own icon with their own fandom and 2) Go to fans4writers.com where they have the whole history of how the strike started, starting right at the beginning from the strike in '88.
