She might have nice boobs, but come on, she can do some serious asskicking with that Clima Tact. Plus, she's probably the only navigator who could put up with Luffy's weird shit and not just be all "FUCK THIS". XD

Whatever, I'm with you. I can't even watch this show because of the way the women are drawn.

Because they're hating the character for having that design, not the design itself. There's a difference.

Same for me, every woman with a name is either insanely ugly or is pure fanservice, there's no middle ground. I used to watch the show cuz I have a lot of friends who are into it, but I had to stop because the character designs pissed me off. A lot of people like to talk about how One Piece has such great female characters that I want to slap them for being unable to see how the series is actually just as sexist as every other shounen show, from what they say with their character designs.

No. I stopped watching before that.

I'm talking about significant characters, and it sounds like you're talking about background or and/or side characters. Also, I'm not saying, "they all look the same," I'm saying, "most of the notable female characters' appearances are either a joke (comically ugly) or fetishized (designs intended to be fanservice) and this creates a sexist attitude toward females in the series despite good characterization."
