Re: vegetarians or vegans of fs?

Sorry I'm not either of those but have some suggestions:

- don't jump straight into the veg diet, slowly wean yourself off the meat and slowly introduce yourself to your meat replacements

- you may need supplements for some things

- beans are a great protein source and come in many varieties

- can be expensive - do you have a local farmers market you can go to?

- will you still be eating eggs? if so, they're a good protein source. If you're switching for ethical reasons, look for PROPER free range chickens. Not barn hectare limited ones where it's 2 chickens to a metre.

- if you end up leaving the veg diet in a year or five because of health reasons, that is okay. maybe switch it out to meat once a week, hunt for all the affordable ethically produced foods you can (it normally does cost more for the free range animals but the prices seem to be evening out)

This link is less a guide and more a list of challenges to prepare for. I think it's better to know beforehand so you can take suitable measures like vitamins or increasing X food intake than being surprised by some issues:
