OF COURSE our police are more trigger happy.

Our citizens are FAR more likely to be armed. Thus they're more likely to use deadly force because they could much more easily be killed by a citizen than in the UK.

DUH.

Except no, because a lot of the people who they've killed lately have included little kids, and women, and mentally ill people and senior citizens *all* of whom were unarmed and shown to be unarmed.

They don't need to be psychic, they need to freakin' slow the hell down and *listen*. Because - yeah - very few of the people they've killed lately have been armed with ANYTHING AT ALL.

Even the friggin' white guys who *actually waved guns* at the police and civilians and were 'talked down' for two or three hours.
