I feel creepy because I think I just replied to you in like 2 other threads, but this is relevant to my interests!
They moved the off-leash area I'm closest to from the big grassy park (they were worried about being too close to the playground) to the nature trail in the wetland, which is where the endangered birds live, and also it's absolutely covered in wandering dew, which can kill dogs.

Council, wtf.

Haha it's okay I won't track!

I did send an email and they're currently doing a dog park review. I compared then to a nearby locality where dogs are allowed off lead in pretty much any park provided controlled. Our locality has 3 dog parks among 12000 registered dogs and not one of them is near me ... But I a am near a walking trail with natural clearings so a fence and water is all that is needed...

Thankfully there are no dog signs for our endangered animal areas :(

None of our off-leash areas are fenced, and they're right next to busy roads. They provide a bin for poop and a sign and call it a day.

There are two beaches that are okay during winter, but I don't want wet and sandy dog all the time.

I feel like nobody bothered to think this though.
