I think mustaches are great (really, I do) but I really wish we could like them without turning the whole thing into a referendum on the classiness of the past and all of these sort of invented, totally unrealistic visions of Truly Civilized Gentleman and all that kind of thing.

My dad's currently working on growing an impressive Civil War-type moustache. He wants to look like Sam Elliot and he's got the hair color for it.
