Honestly? Most of the stuff I hate isn't because of the pairing itself*, and more the shit I see the fans do. The biggest, and best example, I've dealt with recently is the DA fandom. And just...omg DA fandom, calm down and remember "People can dislike something you like, and that's okay."

*One exception and that's less the pairing than the "wtf, writers of the series, you do realize that character A was married and their *spouse just died* when you had character B run over and start making out with them, right?" making me seriously uncomfortable.

I completely agree on DA fandom. That fandom is baaaad. Both sides of any given conversation are horrible and I'd rather not deal with them at all. Like personally I don't ship Iron Bull/Dorian. I was all for it before the game came out, but when I got the game it didn't really click? But I rather people think I like the pairing than be associated with people who scream "rapist" at Iron Bull.

Yeah, the DA fandom is one the worst I've been in.

I've mostly managed to avoid the whole Iron Bull/Dorian mess [I like both of them okay, but I'm more interested in other characters]. The one I keep running across is the whole "Is Cullen Bi or not" stuff and just...wow. It's the most hate I've seen in a fandom I've been in, in a long time.
