Re: Baseball begins!
- World Series: Nationals over Red Sox in 7.
- Surprise team: The White Sox. Chris Sale is one of the most fun pitchers in the game to watch, Abreu's a great hitter, and they just have a surprising amount of talent. And also that division seems more open than people think.
The teams that are popular picks as sleepers that I'm pretty cold on are the Cubs (I think they're still a year or two away - I think their young hitters will need time to adjust to the majors and I still don't trust their pitching) and the Padres (they look good on paper but I think they'll have a lot of issues in practice, kind of like the Blue Jays the last couple years).
- Underrated players: that's a tough one... maybe Kyle Seager to take over at third - does he still count as underrated? And for pitcher, I'm going to go with Mark Buehrle, because he is and will always be incredibly awesome.
To reiterate: yayayayayayay baseball!
