I've always felt like a bad fantasy fan, because while I've slogged through a good number of Gaiman and Pratchett books, it was always hard, and there are precious few I've LIKED. Pratchett's humor just doesn't work for me, I guess, and Gaiman's usually way more into the mythology surrounding his story than the story itself, which meshes badly with my tastes.

At least they give me books I can rec to my friends!
