It never occurred to me that there even was a "Jeeves and Wooster" fandom, but if what you say is true, I'm with you. It is all about the silly. But damn you now I'm going to go see what the fics are like.

Oh, there is. And it ain't pretty. Don't get me wrong, it's all mostly well-written stuff, but I just don't see how someone could read the books/watch the show and make a connection to abuse and torture.
