it's actually worse than that because in that case it's queerbaiting

it doesn't matter how supportive the creative team seem to be of the LGBT, when there is still not a single, explicit, line and romantic scene acknowledging the queer couple as canon, and they're just throwing hints of a potential queer romance without really making it canon on screen the same way het ships are made canon, we're queerbaited.

No it doesn't. If it did, there would be a kiss. You can't read the Aang/Katara scene as platonic. You CAN read the Korra/Asami scene as platonic.

Yep. Sorry, it doesn't strike me as a gay pair in that scene. The creators fell short on that mark. It's why they HAD to clarify. Shitty fucking writing.

That doesn't fuckin' matter. They had AMPLE opportunity to make them more like a pair without being obvious. Instead, Mako was mostly forefront in the last two seasons. It was a shitty ending and shitty pandering and everyone fucking knows it.

and? mako being forefront =/= makorra being forefront. and a lot of people pointed out korra and asami had plenty of interaction in the last two seasons.

Point being, the end of the series was two friendships, if that where Korra and Asami are concerned. And that is IT.
