/co/ is freaking out now about the newest episode of Steven Universe, because it breaks their 'deepest lore' headcanon. Plus the hate some line one of the characters says about women being people. It's hilarious

What lore? And haha, should known that line would get some people ruffled up.

They think everything in the show was pre-thought and planned, so that Amethyst being small/childlike "contradicts" her being able to fit into her hole in a previous episode/a picture of them as adults a few thousand years ago. (I bet it'll be in the 80's and a staged photo, considering there were no cameras back then) They don't understand not everything has to do with DEEPESTLORE

That's it? Haha, damn, that is hilarious. I totally didn't even realize that Amethyst being a kid could be a continuity error. Don't care either tbh. I thought she was adorable as hell in this episode.

There's already been two threads that hit post limit trying to explain away the 'continuity error'. Well, that and 'how could they feminism/Greg is a damn chubbychaser" (as if Rose being not-skinny is anything new!)

Almost makes me want check out those threads just to see their shitfits. But nah.

And do they even realize what show they're watching? I mean for god's sake, why the hell do they think Greg would treat Rose or women like trash? Projecting, I guess.

Just amazes how they could miss the point so much.

Anyway, I really liked the episode. I need more Susan Egan in my life.

After being told by Tumblr that ALL MEN ARE EVIL I imagine seeing a kind hearted one in media is quite a shock.
