tumblr fandom is pretty dead and I'm not about to try any spaces with a lot of dudes. I just wanna talk about the drama and hot people and shipping.

The problem I always have with wrestling is that I enjoy all of it except actually watching people wrestling

Oh, haha. I never thought I'd like it, but most matches are pretty awesome. A lot of the top guys and girls right now are very limber, athletic, and acrobatic so it's not just big dudes lumbering around throwing each other into the mat. It makes things a lot more fun to watch. I guess there were probably people like that in the past too, but when I think of popular old school wrestlers I def think of dudes just throwing each other around and not much acrobatic skill.

I get bored with some matches between people I don't really care about, but that's what fast forward is for.

Are you watching at all right now or when did you?

I used to watch wresting, back in the early 2000s. When the Rock was pretty much the biggest star they had ("Do you smel-l-l-l-l-l what the ROCK! IS! COOKING!"), Degeneration X, Undertaker, Edge and Christian, Big Show, all were big, and Mick Foley was Mankind for most of the time I was watching, I think?

(I kind of shipped Rock/Mick, even though I would have NEVER admitted it to my boyfriend.)

I don't know half those people :( . But Big Show is still around and he won this Andre the Giant award thing at Wrestlemania this year. He's a cheerleader/bodyguard type for the current WWE heavyweight champ Seth Rollins (see my icon) and it's kinda cute. I ship him having a massive crush on Seth. But, really, everyone seems to look at Seth with heart eyes (Triple H is especially bad about that), so.

I've never really watched it, but I'm definitely familiar with it. Like, I've read about it, and I've tried to watch it - many times, across a bunch of different promotions and styles - and it's just not engaging to me. Whether people are doing flippy shit or what. All respect for anyone who can enjoy it! I think it's cool. I just don't get the actual wrestling match part of it.

Aw, well. shit. I'd still talk drama and shipping if you watched for the storylines and fast forwarded through the matches. I just want to talk about shipping so much because there are so many ships, omg.

Who are your main ships, then? I can follow along if you want to talk about it.

OT3 former-Shield members (Dean Ambrose/Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns) is my main one. With just two of those people, I prefer Ambrose/Rollins, but I like all combos of those three. I especially like Ambrose/Reigns if they are all sad about Seth betraying them because they both were in love with him so they kind of fall in with each other for comfort. That "love the one you're with" trope is one of my faves.

I ship everyone with Seth Rolins, tbh, because I love him and because I'm not joking when I say a lot of people look at him with heart eyes, especially Triple H and Big Show. Also he's a little jerk, so he can easily be shipped with other people who are hating him right now, like Randy Orton.

Thanks to Wrestlemania I ship Triple H/Sting and Triple H/The Rock. So, Triple H I ship with a lot of people too. He and Seth are kinda my bikes. They are both very shippable with other people. (I kinda have a whole femdom smutty headcanon involving Stephanie McMahon allowing Triple H to fuck some of the champs-- only champs-- but only if she's included. Also, he's a total sub in bed in my headcanon.)

John Cena/anyone he is fueding with, but especially Bray Wyatt mostly because Bray's finishing move involves him like, dipping the dude and kissing his forehead and I wanted him to kiss John on square on the mouth instead. (Part of the feud was he was trying to rattle John and was saying he was fake and shit, I dunno. He was trying to get him to lose it. So, kissing him would def fuck him up a little.)

As for the divas, well. I shipped AJ Lee/Paige but now AJ's retired so I dunno anymore. I guess I still ship it but AJs not around anymore so no more shippy moments.

That's awesome. From what little I've seen I'd have to say that I'm not as much of a fan of the Tripe H stuff, but the Shield member stuff definitely seems ripe with potential for all kinds of insane shipping stuff. I definitely get where you're coming from on that. Also with John Cena. He's a handsome man.

Lol, noone ships Triple H 'cept me it seems. Idgi really but whatever.

Oh, The Shield. That's def where the shipping is at. Their stable was pretty homoerotic and all three members are gorgeous.
