I am writing a paper about Moby-Dick and the book of Job and could use some motivation but am doing okay. How y'all?

I'm avoiding working on a paper by playing a game. >>;;

Should be writing an essay about Brutus in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, but am instead playing the Sims 3, watching the 100 and waiting for Game of Thrones to air.

OP here: The Sims 3 is my reward for finishing this paper tonight. Just two more pages to go! :P

As for me, I am just vegging, enjoying the last of my Sunday before going back to work.

barest bones version of thesis: Job wants answers so he can have closure; acknowledges ultimaltely that there won't be answers, achieves peace//Ahab wants blood, gets blood

also, Job is not godly and God is and therefore he's kind of too small to factor??//the whale does not have it out for Ahab, he's literally a whale

also, knowability is not man's prerogative, etc etc

writing, sort of participating in a session of Exalted with friends, and trying to chase away a bad case of dehydration headaches with tons of water.

I just got back from my vacation and am realizing why drinking lots of soda all week was a bad idea. (I would have had more water had we not run out of bottled water halfway into the week.) Aughh

I'm just pretending to listen to my grandfather's ideas about holistic medicine and politics and why I should totally run for president. We're probably going to watch John Dies at the End now.

Waiting for Game of Thrones.

Listening to my ex lose their shit because they can't find a book for a free/illegal download. It's actually pretty entertaining.

I spent all day doing things and am trying to decide if I'm not doing anything else tonight and should just go to bed, or if I'm going to try to take a bike ride around the block (I did this for the first time in ages last night, and am so physically weak at the moment that it was utterly exhausting) and then take a bath.

Earlier I went to church, did some shopping, watched both my sports teams win their games, did yardwork, worked on two cosplays, baked biscuits, got up the nerve to try a new food (this is a big deal when you have as many digestive issues as I do), and vacuumed the living room, so it's not like I can call today a failure even if I don't take that bike ride.

I'm playing Dragon Age but pretty soon I'm going to finish my nails and read some Kuroko no Basuke. (I finished back when the manga did, but since the anime is up to the Teiko arc, I decided to reread that. The Teiko arc is my favorite!)

This thread is making me miss The Sims 3. I haven't played it in a good eight months... Hell, I haven't even installed it on my new computer. (I backed up my Sims and saves, but I've been lazy. Maybe it would be better to start over, but my Sims were so perfect...)

I am researching for a paper on Constantin Brancusi. Its so very boring.
