My friends keep trying to hook me up with another friend because we are "perfect for each other". The "perfect for each other" thing being that we both watch anime even if we have completely opposing tastes. Also he's a pervert, and I don't mind the "haha pervert" or having kinks, no. I meant the type who'll reach to cop a feel at you and say tons of dirty stuff. He also offered to cheat on/ditch his girlfriend for me.

Yeeeeeeah no.

Why do friends have such weird ideas about who you would date?
I have a friend who has tried to set me up with her partner's best friend on multiple occasions because she thought it would be fun and we could double date. He's physically 3x my size, 6 years older, and has never voluntarily picked up a book in his life.

My type is more Bruce Banner than the Hulk, sorry.

Sometimes I think they do it as a joke, rather than setting you up seriously. And sometimes they get this weird idea that if you're single and person B is single, then you should be dating. Idek friends are weird like that.
