I'm in the camp of option D: I think the OUAT writers have the right to tell the story they want to tell and if they said SQ wasn't intentional then that's their prerogative and it's not their fault fans saw something different and were disappointed when told their interpretation wasn't the same as the writers'. But try telling that to the shippers. It all gets drowned out in a sea of "QUEERBAITING!!11!!1" (if they said it wasn't intentional then it's the OPPOSITE of queerbaiting FFS) and "ZOMG we're being abused and gaslighted by this show!!11!!1" (nice way to trivialize actual abuse victims, there). This is why I cannot fucking STAND this fandom. The entitlement is unreal.
