Yeah, like I said, I recognize some people do have perfectly reasonable reasons for reeeeally not wanting anyone to connect the dots. I make it a point not to tag certain friends in cosplay pics on FB, for instance.

In my case, I work in IT with a bunch of fellow geeks, I'm already estranged from the more judgmental parts of my family, and the church I attend is liberal, speaks out for LGBT rights, and is sex-positive. Basically anyone that one of my own old haters (and I have had some personal stalker trolls in the past) might run and tattle to? Either wouldn't care, or is already not someone whose opinion I give a crap about. I'm fortunate in that regard.
