They're both awesome games and hard to compare... but Origins was pretty generic Tolkien fantasy. The characters were fun, it had that epic feel, but there really wasn't anything to the storyline that wasn't a well-used fantasy cliche. DA2 had a lot of problems (though I maintain they are solely a result of a insanely premature deadline, and they didn't get nearly as much time as they should've to work on it) but it's a lot more original, and the narrative is far more complex. And I think I like the cast better, overall. I love how the combat was smoother and faster, but it did get less... strategic? than Origins was.

And Inquisition, I think is the strongest in terms of narrative development, but the combat was severely simplified.

Inquisition is a bunch of barely related main quests, pointless repetitive fetch quests, beautiful but empty landscapes, and clumsily tied-up loose ends.
