Weekend Plans

My cousin and her family are coming over for dinner on Sunday. So all of Saturday will be spent mopping everything. I also want to look at dining room sets because we don't have a real one (patio table is pretty redneck). Other than that, playing WoW and trying to get through Better Call Saul.

Sleep. Just sleep. I worked 3 12 hour days this week. All I want to do is sleep. I need to do housework, but I'm feeling like I might keep procrastinating on that.

I may go to the science museum tomorrow if I feel up for it.

I wanted to sleep all day at work. It was really warm in the building and I was stuck listing products online. -___- Makes for a sleepy Kaijin.

What kind of science museum? Like a hands on one or just looking?

Hey, that sounds nice! What kind of dinner will you be making?

Tonight my university has a "queer prom" thing going on, so a friend and I are gonna check that out and go dancing for a bit. Saturday morning I'll be working on my thesis all morning, then going for a hike later that day with friends. Sunday is church, then d&d all day, then work. It's a long weekend, no classes monday! So I'll probably work on homework again all day haha.

Still stressed so I'd really like to do some serious gardening but it's been bucketing down with rain for a few days now. Temperature has dropped as well. I'll get some indoor seedlings going and top up the potatos but if it doesn't stop...well, aside from a quick dog walk probably gonna stay inside and play Stranded Deep*

*Bought it yesterday, it's like the tv show survivor except no other people and the sharks are REALLY ANNOYING

It has been raining terribly here! Last night some lightning struck really close and it woke me up. It was loud enough that my sister across town woke up at the same time. Felt like a sonic boom.

I hope it stops raining where you are so you can get out into the garden.

Exciting, for once! Going to a baby shower on the central coast tomorrow afternoon (at a winery), and then driving the rest of the way to the Bay Area to my sister's. We're going to watch the kid Monday-Tuesday because my sister's MIL usually does but she'll be out of town those days. Hopefully we can find something fun to do Sunday.

So I probably won't even be on F!S again until Wednesday night/Thursday.

I am going on an Ikea trip with my dad tomorrow (he wants to buy some furniture that is hard to get into the car on your own). I am not really looking forward to it, but it is the right thing to do. Also, I have some work to catch up on because I have been an anxious, unproductive mess this week. With whatever leftover time there is, I will probably bury myself in video games, though I do have some cleaning I should probably stop putting off.

Try not to get lost in Ikea. When you escape you will only be able to put together terrible furniture and nothing else. You will be a robot.

Just take a deep breath then work whatever you need done. Take breaks when you get too stressed. Use videogames as a reward.

Since my brother, his girlfriend, and their son moved into their own place this week, I intend to spend my weekend sitting in my room playing video games all night at a probably unreasonable volume in nothing but my underpants. At least those are my plans for tonight, because there's no one to tell me "put your pants on what the hell" or "I heard your video game while I was walking past your door you have to turn it down", and after putting up with their shit 24/7 for over a month, I reserve the right to be petty now that they can't whine to my parents.

And because I see that getting old after tonight, I plan to spend tomorrow getting caught up on the housework, maybe go outside and enjoy the amazing weather we've had the last few days before it starts raining on Sunday.

Go to the graveyard tomorrow with my mom because they're having some sort of ceremony for the dead people from her family's church. My aunt died a few days ago and was buried today.

Other than that, I don't know. Maybe look for Virginia bluebells in the park. I don't have much to do on weekends.

1) Check my new neighborhood that I'm now in (my parents brought a new house on the outskirts of the city due to wanting some quiet time) to see where the aquarium shop is...

2) ...Buy some new candles for the oil vaporizer I keep in my bathroom. Yes, I'm a guy. Sue me...

3) ...and FREAKING FINISH my latest update of my alternate history-story. IT'S BEEN ALMOST A WEEK, SELF, AND YOU PROMISED YOU THAT YOU'LL WRITE THE UPDATE BY THIS SUNDAY, SO START WRITING.

I have terrible start/finish issues.

Working, but only short shifts, so hopefully I'll get some painting done in the meanwhile. But I'm looking forward to getting off early tomorrow because I recently realized that there's an Indian restaurant in the same complex as my workplace, so I'll probably be getting lunch there.
