it's kind of a turn-off for me too tbh (on both men and women. mostly men though, because most of the women I've been with might go a few days or a week without shaving it and it's not too bad, but some of the dudes I've been with have a goddamn armpit jungle. I still wouldn't try to coerce my partner into maintaining their pits though). no other kind body hair bothers me in the least, but there's just something about armpit hair

There's something about armpit hair for me too. It's the only hair on my body that I consistently shave because I don't like it.

Same. I'd probably never bring it up because either way it's their personal choice, but I definitely prefer shaved pits for either gender.

I actually wish there was that social obligation for men to shave just like women.

Same. Untamed leg or pubic hair? I'm totally cool with it; no problem. But armpit hair? It's just...off-putting to me. If someone offered me the chance to get laser hair removal surgery for my armpits that was guaranteed to be completely permanent and successful then I would take it.

I think it is because it gathers so much sweat. Ugh. Armpit hair is so gross. It is the only thing I shave regularly.

Yep. 'Pit hair is a BO sink. It is gross on everyone. No exceptions. None at all.

I disagree, I've shaved and gone without shaving and when I'm shaved I sweat and stink way more. there's nothing to "trap" the sweat and it just pours like a fountain down the sides of my shirt and spreads the stink around.

this is part of the reason I don't like it. And I am way more diligent about shaving my armpits than my legs (though I don't like leg hair very much either).

Me too. I like snuggling under the BF's arm to cuddle, but only if he's wearing a shirt or something that covers his armpit. Naked cuddling is fine as long as his armpit hair is no-where near my face or touching my own skin or clothes. Armpit hair grosses me out. :(
