it's kind of a turn-off for me too tbh (on both men and women. mostly men though, because most of the women I've been with might go a few days or a week without shaving it and it's not too bad, but some of the dudes I've been with have a goddamn armpit jungle. I still wouldn't try to coerce my partner into maintaining their pits though). no other kind body hair bothers me in the least, but there's just something about armpit hair

I once saw a guy comment on pictures of Chinese girls who were taking pictures of their hairy armpits and putting them on the internet, saying that he knew girls had armpit hair but seeing it was still off and shocking to him. And all I could think to his comment was: those Chinese girls in the pictures barely have any armpit hair anyways. When I don't shave my Italian armpits it looks like a fucking bush. You'd probably faint and cry for your mommy if you saw them. Lmao.

Just tell him you're turned off by his. If he's willing to shave it off for you, great. If not, he'll cave in a couple of weeks after realizing how much of a pain in the ass it is to maintain.

Or you'll both just use Nair and it'll be no trouble at all.

Relationships are all about communication and compromise. He's communicating a potential problem and you have to decide whether you are going to compromise on the hair or the relationship. I'm sure you probably have some issue you've communicated to him and asked him to compromise on.

I think everyone has something they dislike in their partner. that's just part of being in a relationship

I need more details for this. Because if it's a new boyfriend...eh. How on earth is he going to cope with other not-sexy things that happen in a relationship? If he makes a stink about a little hair, I have to wonder how he'll respond to the fact that everyone farts, or that girls get the period shits.

If this is a more long-term relationship, though, it might be worth it to re-consider your armpit preferences. Shaving or not shaving is entirely up to you, but if you're neutral on shaving and he's really turned off by it, maybe try shaving for a while.

Shave it? I mean, are you like super attached to your armpit hair? Or are you a dude? frankly I think even dudes should shave their armpit hair. Major turnoff for me too
