If you're trying to quit and you slip up, it's not the end of the world. Obviously it's not ideal, but it doesn't make you a failure. It just means you have to keep trying. Never think that a slip-up means you won't ever be able to get the problem under control! It just takes time and patience. If addictions were easy to overcome, they wouldn't be addictions.

It's such a cliche, but you really do just have to take things one day at a time.
