Oh that reminds me that I tried to buy some fan tea a few years back, but the cost of shipping to Canada was too ridiculous for me. I just wanted tasty blends, so I may add well just do it myself.

The cost of shipping to Canada is almost always ridiculous. It sucketh.

There's so many subscription service boxes I have to pass over because the price of shipping may as well make it regular price.

Not to even begin with shipping FROM here. Yeesh. If there's one thing I envy about the US is how USPS and the roads have their shit together.

An online friend recced these fan teas to me a while back. I just about choked on my (non-fandom) tea when I looked at the prices for shipping to the UK: "1kg: $46.25 2kgs: $53.42 3kgs: $57.66"

There's the UK site as well, but the selection isn't as good.

I mean

that is kind of ridiculous, but on the other hand a kilogram is kind of an insane amount of tea
