This may just be me, but I always thought "Tifa" and "Aeris" both sound relatively normal.

Tifa because it sounds like it could be a play off of Tiffany. And Aeris, I don't know, I guess it looks a bit more exotic but in my head it plays similar to "Alice" or "Ellis", and it's a nice two-syllable name that kind of rolls off the tongue.

(not "Aerith" though, nope.)

I don't know what fandom these names refer to, but they scream some sort of fandom name to me.

Aeris is also pronounced the same as Eris, which is a real name.

I like the name Eris (yeah, it's probably asking for trouble to name a kid that) but it bugs me that people will hear "heiress" and think of Paris Hilton or whatever, or think I'm the same sort of person who names their kid stuff like Princess.
