Legion? Nope - honestly, iirc, he's* one of the few characters who ends up not being completely screwed up by the end, albeit one who always has one specific end.

*technically "he" is actually a huge collection of AI programs [a collective of sorts] within one physical body, which can be switched between millions of different programs

Wait. So it's not just a nice robot, but a MULTI robot?

HOW HAVE WE NOT HEARD OF THIS BEFORE.

Mmm, I'm not really sure multi* is quite the word, but basically yes. Also, I'm assuming you've never played Mass Effect and Legion - while awesome as hell, imo - is far from the most popular character in it.

*It's described very oddly from what I remember, so I could be wrong

No, never played Mass Effect, likely never will. Buying the console, a TV that can hook up to the console, PLUS the game, would just be too much for us. Besides, from what I've heard, aren't those games REALLY long? Cool as they are, I can't imagine sticking with a game for that long.

AYRT

You can play it on PC - and, arguably, the controls are better on PC. As for long, that depends on how much you play/how many side missions you do.

Our computer, alas, is nine years old. It would probably keel over crying if we tried to play it on PC. We have a newer one soon to be in use, but I don't know if it has the specs to play it either.

If you feel like sharing the specs of the new computer, I can tell you whether it would play or not. :)

Okay, according to my friend who built it for me, Frankencomp's specs are about 3.5GB of RAM, 1.8 gh dual core processor, and a video card that's something like AMD hd 4950 (possible 4590).

OK, your bottleneck is going to be your dual core proc. The graphics card is a bit out of date but it should run the earlier games. I think you'd be able to get away with 1 (almost definitely) and 2 (very very likely), but 3 will be iffy. You might be able to run it on lowest settings. ME1 is $20 normally, and the Steam summer sale is coming up; it almost always goes down to $5 or $10 then, so I'd probably wait for that and see. :)

edit: unless you have a friend you can borrow the software from to install and try.

Yeah, I planned for Frankencomp to be used for art shit, and didn't figure I'd be gaming on it.

My friends MIGHT have Mass Effect, but it'd be for a console. Also, it's probably best I don't trick my work computer out for fun times.

Yeahh... that's why my work computer is my Mac Air. (Which I managed to get at a steal on Apple Refurb. It was several hundred dollars cheaper than new, and it was the previous year's model with extra RAM and everything. So I *can* use it for gaming, if I'm traveling for non-work reasons, but I try to keep it for my writing/publishing.)

My main computer, I have tricked out, because... yeah, gaming. Even though I end up doing some amount of writing on it too. (Thank you, Dropbox and Scrivener.)

technically it's more like a hivemind than a multi

Ah well, I was going to say, that'd be pretty unusual. Awesome, but unusual.

This is kind of difficult to follow, since we don't know the story of Mass Effect, but still cool! Thanks anon!
