Best waifu, girl, grill, husbando, robot, whatever. Especially Nisekoi. It killed that fandom for me.

I'm also really sick of people using whatever you like as a reason to discredit whatever your saying. For example; you could write a whole thesis paper about a famdom subject but someone see's in your profile you like some pairing that's disliked or you like a "problematic person" so they respond to your post saying "Everything you said is null and void because you like x thing" then people dogpile in IA's and insults. It's so stupid.

These days, a lot of people (online) see the world in black and white. You are either the worst person ever or the best person ever. :(

True. It's just sad because I can slightly remember the "good ole days" when fandom had a grey scale.

Yeah Nisekoi mostly for me, but a lot of harem type animes have this and I've sometimes seen in in Doctor Who talk. There will be one girl people will generally like and she is "best girl". So every post about the fandom will break out into a fight about why said popular girl is shit, and why this girl should be best girl, etc. It's so exhausting and feels like every topic brought up gets derailed by "best girl" talk.
