Yeah, but if you actaully want to fucking engage with people, you need to listen to them. Even if you don't like them.

You don't win the abortion debate by going "NYAH NYAH NYAH I DON'T HEAR YOU AND I WON'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO MAKE A CASE FOR ABORTION RIGHTS THAT REFUTES YOU." That's how you backslide. Which frankly I can see happening, a lot of people who oppose bigots think the best thing to do is create "safe spaces" rather than kicking the bigots' asses, which requires actual confrontation.
