Nope...I saw one (1) article on Teleread about it, but I didn't really follow up, other than figuring out what people were talking about when they were referencing Sad Puppies/Rabid Puppies. I do recall in the early aughts, hearing all kinds of complaining from pros and semi-pros about how logrolling was way frowned on, they just couldn't do it, they would be disqualified, etc. But that was (wow I'm old) well over a decade ago.

What happened, anon? Telllll meeeeeeeee....

Logrolling on a massive scale by moderate conservatives (sad puppies) and extreme to the point of insanity conservatives (rabid puppies) lead to writers and nominees from those slates dominating most of the Hugo nominations.

I'm sure you can fill in the details on most of the rest of the controversy on your own if you have any familiarity with Internet SF fandom slapfighting.

WOW. And what has SFWA had to say about all of this? Bear in mind I gafiated from Internet SFF fandom when RaceFail '09 hit the fan. (Or I should say I gafiated because RaceFail '09 hit the fan.)
