Heh, I had that. Perversely, the Homeless Year made that anxiety lessen--probably because I realized that no, the money would have to go to feeding me.

Now that I'm more stable, the anxiety is back (I call it the Smaug instinct--gather all your fucking money and just SIT ON IT FOREVER), but at least I realize it's totally irrational.

That said, I actually KISSED my security deposit check from my last place today. I've had so many overdraft fees this month, it's hellish and embarrassing. (AND I HAD THE MONEY!)
