How's that go? Everybody has a 100 000 words of bad writing they have to get through before they can write well, or something.

I think I suck at writing too. But that won't help if I want to write—or more importantly, if the story I want to be written is to be written.

Not everyone has the time or inclination to devote that much energy to writing fanfiction. Nothing wrong with it if you do and in fact great, I love reading good fanfic - but I'm not going to make a sacrifice to write something if I don't really like writing, and honestly, I'm not very good at it, and that's ok because there are other things I spend time being good at.
