Physical copies of erotica books. I love the ebooks, but I'd love to have some physical ones, but I'd be too embarrassed.

Does Sauron count as an embarrassing interest? I've decided that if I get a cat, I will name it Mairon and make up some excuse of some sort for the name if anyone asks.

I'm also too embarrassed to walk into a sex shop (and also not sure if they'd be very female-friendly and not male-gazy and creepy). I'd love to get advice and toys that will actually work for me, but the best I can manage to brave is buying cheep ones on Amazon.

It doesn't help that my parents still have access to my bank account for another 6 months (until I pass the bar because they loan/give me money sometimes).

I don't think it would be too embarrassing! I think the worst part is some of the covers of erotica books.

I've named my pets more embarrassing fandom names. :P At least it isn't a child.

Yeah, I can't fathom going into a sex shop. Thank god for Amazon. Though, most online places at least have very generic terms on credit cards and such.

Sex shops are almost always staffed by female employees and are usually very friendly places.

There are some seedy ones. A good indicator is that if there are booths in the back for porn viewing and such, it might not be the best place to hang around.
