I have a friend who spent 10 years of her life in a high security psychiatric hospital. Has some extremely traumatic stories. Being forced to socialize with serial killers and pedophiles for instance. And also met people who've gone through things you wouldn't want to imagine, and I wouldn't want to describe.

Oh my god. :( I have a friend who was at a psychiatric hospital as well, except I shouldn't know at all - she knows the person told me, but they shouldn't have, and I don't think she would've. We've never discussed it.
