DOES THIS COUNT IF IT'S A PLAY

BECAUSE

IT'S A PLAY

THE MOVIE IS BASED ON A MUSICAL THAT IS STILL PERFORMED

My Fair Lady, Arsenic and Old Lace, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease

These were movies that came from plays and you had better believe people would get upset about remakes of the movies. Certain movie adaptations are iconic and, honestly, a lot more people have probably seen the movie versions.

I know i'm late and all but...why do you keep bringing this up? Nobody is talking about remaking the play, but the *movie*, which is probably rather different than the play.

Also, i've never seen the play, and can only imagine Tim Curry in drag as Dr. Furter. So....can you tell me your point? And i'm not trying to be combative or obnoxious, i'm just really confused.
