Hey, f!s what are you proud of?

I just made my first batch of homemade pasta; sweet potato gnocchi dough cut into thick linguini with a mushroom, walnut and garlic cream sauce finished with fresh thyme and lemon juice.

It is the best pasta I have ever eaten.

Tell me what makes you feel accomplished!

Oh that sounds quite awesome Herpy! You should send me some, because as usual I've kinda forgotten to eat in the last 12 or so hours.

And yes I am talking about how I formated my Bachelor's Thesis, I am not done writing it just yet so I can't say I am proud of it, but I do enjoy writing it and learning new things and making brand new discoveries, as what I am writing about is pretty much un-studied territory. Which is equal parts exciting and terrifying.

That is a nice format. Am I allowed to nitpick? Because one of those quote you used (are they even real quotes?) totally has a grammar nitpick.

I am quite proud of it.

Off course they are, why wouldn't they be? The first is from a business journal thingy and the second one is from an article about how independent media can flourish on the internet as the costs of printing and so on is removed.

The second quote I assume? It is a quote from an interview so I can't change the grammar on it, if you are thinking of "more fast" instead of "faster"?

I've gotten the first real raise of my life, and at my performance eval they basically let me know I'm going to be promoted when they think I'm ready, even if that's a year or so off.

That's awesome! You're awesome for being awesome at your job.

I did some sculpting last week to alter the silhouette of one of the My Little Ponies I'm customizing, and just recently finished airbrushing it. It's one of the cleanest joins I've ever done, and except for one tiny spot it's impossible to tell where the original plastic ends and my additions begin.

Congrats! Altering toys is a skill you can definitely make money off of if you want to.

And you should want that pasta, it was amazing (and very nutritious).

Recently? My experiences in making maple syrup. Also fixing the lawn mower, getting the brush in the back yard cleaned up, and the aggressive little bunny I'm trying to rehabilitate let me pet her head this morning instead of growling and attacking my hand. PROGRESS! ^__________^

Thank you! All signs point to her being a real sweetheart once she gets fixed (I can't even cover my own medical bills right now, so no spaying in the near future, sadly) and recovers some from her past homing experience. She'll lick me and approach me and so on, but hands coming into her space generally still make her lash out, poor thing. So mine rarely approach unless they're holding something tasty for her. ;)

I finally finished translating a movie I've been procrastinating for a month. Except now about 3 new things released which I want to translate too, so my backlog actually got longer...

But at least you finished the one project. That's a lot more than I can say I have done as far as creative endeavours go lately, so yay for you!

After three months at my job, I feel like I'm one of the most capable people in my department.

..that's actually kind of sad, though.

I picked up crochet again a few months ago and I've been crocheting up a storm. I just finished a throw last week, and I'm almost done with all the parts to make two cute little Eevee amigurumis.

tbh this is a dangerous power for me to have because my one true weakness is stuffed animals and now I can make all the stuffed animals I want...
