Re: What's your most fun video game?
But pretty much any video game I pursue past a few hours is a delight on some level or another, though in different ways. When I think of just sheer delight, like laughing and having lighthearted fun, Nintendo is usually the way to go - especially Pokemon, SSB and Mario Kart. (LoZ starts to cross that line into "fun because it's awesome/challenging/sometimes dark/has a story" rather than "fun because it's just so damn fun".)
Re: What's your most fun video game?
And Mario Kart is glorious fun, and a great party game. I agree with that one. (Though I haven't played heavily since my N64 days.)
Re: What's your most fun video game?
I'll always have a fondness for MK64 which was one of the first, if not the very first!, video game I ever played. I actually still have that game for 64! <3 But I love what they've done with 8 and the capabilities of the Wii U. It's beautiful and so, so fun, while still maintaining all the classic MK elements.
Re: What's your most fun video game?
After all these years I imagine they've made a lot of improvements to the game, so I have no doubt that it's great! My brother has a better chance of one day buying one than me, so if he does I'll inquire about Mario Kart. His kids would love it.
