The post that the anon I was referring to was referring to said that there is a difference between character critique and character hate, and that the former does not describe someone who's just calling a character a slut/whore/bitch. They were just saying that someone who makes a post like "tony stark is such a bitch ugh" is clearly not looking for a thoughtful discussion, which... I'm not sure how you could argue that such a person is looking for a thoughtful discussion.

They were not saying that your thoughtful critique is not thoughtful critique. You are misreading their post so that you can use it as a place to rant.

was referring to negative posts in general, not just ones filled exclusively with insults.
