Fair enough.

I didn't realize initially, upon reading your post, that you were referring ONLY to people who post insulting comments when saying they weren't looking for a discussion. (I initially thought you meant that people who write anything negative weren't looking for discussion).

I agree that people who write "so and so is a useless bitch" are 99% of the time not looking for constructive commentary. And I do think that they should, as a matter of courtesy, try to post that more in hate-specific tags. But I also don't really think it's something fandom should jump down their throat for either (unless they put it in a positive tag -- then that's fair).
