Re: Your worst dates

(Anonymous) 2015-04-27 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I've only been on one date in my life.

It didn't go very well.

To start with, I was sick (and I let him know this) but he still wanted to go out and I agreed because it wasn't too bad (just a bit of sore throat/stuff nose) and I was so excited.

Throughout dinner he just didn't seem at all interested in anything I was saying. We went to a movie afterwards and he made a move and we started making out in the theater. It didn't start too bad (and I was actually pretty into it at first) but...well...I was still sick and having trouble breathing. And his tongue was SUPER cold in my mouth which was uncomfortable.

And he just kept coming AT me. And I tried to dissuade him by telling him I didn't want him to get sick or that I was having trouble breathing but he was just really pushy. And I felt bad because I felt like I owed him for paying for dinner.

It was worse because when we left the theater, a group of girls laughed at us and I felt SO humiliated.

And when I got home, I just felt like a whore because I had kissed him for buying me dinner. I ended up being that "bitch" stereotype and not responding to any of his messages because the whole thing left me feeling so ashamed.

And...yeah...that's my one date. Not a horror story or anything. But it kind of sucked.

ew, that's awful. To look at the bright side, he does NOT sound like a keeper and you're better off without him.

You don't owe anyone anything for buying you dinner! Not a thing. I'm sure you know this but just wanted to emphasize it again! :)

Also, I'm so confused as to why he'd want to make out with you while you're sick. ???? he probably caught it (serves him right tbh)

He did catch it.

He was quite kind though. I'm probably making him sound worse than he was. I never said "No" or anything and I kissed him back (like I said, because I felt I owed him even though I'll admit, in my head, I kind of just wanted it to be over).

I don't think he ever realized why I didn't call back. But I just never really knew what to say, to be honest.

ah, ok. I guess I was assuming from that that you were giving him a lot of negative feedback wrt body language and stuff. I guess it was just awkward. :/
